My question is 'slightly' different to that of other questions about bringing family.

I am applying for a 1 year course at a flight school and want to bring my wife and 2 kids. I think it is fairly clear that I can apply for visas for them. The questions I have are

1. Should I apply for them as simple visitors or for the open work permit (wife) and student visa (kids)
2. If I just include them as visitors under my student visa what rights do my kids have to attend elementary school or childcare? [this is the question I have not seen asked]

Any views on this particularly from anyone who has done this are much appreciated.

1. Your choice.
2. Yes - they can attend elementary school. You can certainly put your children in childcare as well but will have to pay for this care just like everyone else does (it's not free).

I assume you're aware there's no guarantee they will be approved to come to Canada.

hi we are also applying on same basis with one child of two year. have you been accepted if yes then can i know
i- the special thing that make your application to be accepted
ii- how much time does it took
iii- your email
iv- how much finances did you show
v- we are applying in brampton school which school do you applied in

My advice is apply alone first
And get the visa.
Applying with them reduces ur chances (to my knowledge)
If you apply alone u can use them as home ties
But u relocating all ur family reduces u chance
Unless u show good home ties like
Lucrative assets that can convince the visa officer
