Bringing brother/sister in Canada

Hello
I am a new immigrant to Canada, I heard if live some province like AB, BC for one year so I can apply to bring my brother or sister to Canada.
is it true.
if anyone know more information about this please let me know.

You would need to move to Saskatchewan. There are also certain criteria your brother/sister would have to meet:

Saskatchewan, Manitoba and AB all used to have family sponsorship programs. AB closed theirs a few years ago. Saskatchewan now restricts to people who already have a skilled job offer in SK. Manitoba doesn't call it family support any more but they have a points system where you can get a lot of points for a close family member in MB.
