Bridging Work Permit Fees

Hi there,

How much is a bridging work permit supposed to cost?

Last week I finished my app online and just had the supporting letter to add. The system told me there was $155 to pay, which is what all the sites and forums said it costs.

However, a week later I've gone to submit and it's telling me I have to pay an extra processing fee, taking the total fee to $255? Have they just decided to charge this? Or have I done something wrong?

It was $155, but in February 2015 the CIC added a silly additional $100 charge for open work permits. $255 is correct.
