Hi, does anybody know what the processing time is for the bridging visa at the moment, I sent my application for the bridging visa on July 4th, 2013, I just wonder how long it will be until I get some paper confirming it has been accepted/refused?
Are you talking about the bridging open work permit? Then it's not a visa, but a work permit. If everything is in order and you submitted all the correct documents, pass all the criteria to be eligible, the processing times should be the same as a normal work permit. (And hopefully you submitted in online instead of snail mail because it is shorter)
They will not tell you that they have received it (unless online confirming successful transmission of the application) but will send you the renewed work permit.
