Can you be more specific about the problem you are having with the online application?

Thanks Jes, first of all,i have to complete an online assessment and answer some questions before applying . They never mentioned anything about BOWP applicants. I went ahead and started answering the questions but i realised that some questions are not applicable to me but somehow, i answered in order to proceed. i was even asked if i am applying for multiple entry visa. on completing the assesment, i was given a reference number that will enable me to start application, when i logged in with the ref. number, i was dissapointed to see that i have to fill up an application form for temporal resident visa( i am not looking for a visa but BOWP) I was also asked to fill up additional family information form and attach some documents like employement letter, job offer letter, proof of fund etc. There is no form for BOWP..

These are my fear because i dont know if other people face the similar thing and how they proceed with the application

There is no form or fee for BOWP..

Wow, I just logged in to ask exactly the same question.

When you log in to start the application process, it prompts you with this question: "Please enter your personal checklist code to begin your application."

I'm assuming there is a checklist specific to the BOWP, but I can't seem to find out what it is???

So when you click 'I don't have a checklist code' it leads you to a stupid questionnaire that makes no mention of the BOWP and is all not quite relevant questions like 'How long are you planning to stay in Canada'.

In short, I'm not sure where to begin???

Any help you be greatly appreciated.

Ujbaby, that is strange, I filled out the questionnaire, received a code, entered it to start my Online Application and it provided me the application to Renew my work permit. See below for a possible reason

Pete:

Fill out the questionnaire from here:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/cometocanada.asp

Now for both, Pete and Ujbaby:

I was having issues with the questionnaire generating a code for me.
This was because I answered the first question wrong which changed the path of what code it should give me.
This question:

What would you like to do in Canada?

Study
Visit
Move there
Work
Transit Only

I first chose "Move there" and it didnt give me any code.
I changed it to "Work" and i received a code and the correct application.

I hope this helps!

Hi Mark,

Thanks for your help!

I'm afraid I'm still stuck, when I did the questionnaire it came out as 'International Experience Canada' which isn't right.

There doesn't seem to be a question about whether or not you have a PR application in the system (hence BOWP)?

Not sure what to do???

Ah success!

Thanks Mark, I just redid the questionnaire giving slightly different answers and it does direct you to a 'Have you submitted a PR Application?' and 'Have you been approved in principal for PR?' questions.

After that, I was home and dry, thank you sir!

Yes it worked for me too just now.
To go to the BOWP applictaion, i think the questions 9 and 10 listed by CEC 2013 just above are important and must be answered YES:)

Those are the preconditions for this type of permit, therefore yes, you would need to answer in this manner. But you need to be able to substantiate the same. So, being in canada and having an AOR. :)
