anyone here recently have gone thru the BOWP process, can we apply right away after getting the aor once we submit the applicaiton for EE thru the CIC acct. wht abt this requirment:
He or she received a positive eligibility assessment on his or her application; an

n how much time is it taking for eligibility to be set as passed in GCMS notes at this time ?

Yes plenty of people have got their BOWP including myself.
I'm 03Feb AOR and I applied for BOWP on Feb 08.

Once you apply for BOWP they will wait until you pass R10 and then they will issue your BOWP.

R10 pass means when the agent checks your application and finds it to be complete. Mine got approved in 2 months but some people got it in one month.

Hi,

R10 completeness is just they cross checking with your PR application meets document completeness or not. You can get it through by applying GCMS notes about R10 completeness. Plz check BOWP details below : I applied for BOWP on 22nd April 2016 and just got approved today (28th April 2016) & I have applied Online which is faster than Paper application.
If you applying online don't forget to attached your "Acknowledgement of Receipt" and "Post graduate work permit" . you also need to attached this form "Condition-Change-IMM5710E" too. Plus your medical doc , passport details, etc. You also need to attach as optional doc : "Application for Temporary Residence -IMM5257B_1"

BOWP eligibility parameters
To be eligible for a BOWP, foreign nationals must

be currently in Canada;
have valid status on a work permit that is due to expire within the next four months;
be the principal applicant on an APR under the FSWC, the CEC, the FSTC, the PNC (see note below), or one of the two caregiver classes;
have completed one of the following APR stages:
their electronic application for permanent residence (e‑APR) submitted under Express Entry has passed the R10 completeness check; or
they have received a positive eligibility assessment on their paper APR submitted by mail under one of the economic classes above;
have applied for an open work permit;
have paid the work permit processing fee and the open work permit holder fee; and
have provided, as applicable, evidence (e.g., nomination certificate) that their provincial nomination is unrestricted.
