BOWP - R10 completeness

Hi All, really hoping someone might be able to help. I live in Toronto and am applying for PR Express Entry through CEC.

I finally got a medical exam booked for May 1st after constant delays due to COVID. However, my work permit visa expires on May 11th. I've received my ITA and am currently at my documents checklist stage of my application. My medical is the last thing I need to get.

I was reading online, that to apply for BOWP, you need to have reached the R10 completeness of your PR application and received “Acknowledgment of receipt – Application for permanent residence” letter. However, reading online, it seems that there is a time gap between submitting your e-APR and receiving this letter so as to apply for BOWP, as they need to physically check for completeness (ie the documents are all there), correct?

Can anyone advise what they think i should do? Or confirm the time gap between applying e-APR and receiving the completed acknowledgement letter? Can i still apply for BOWP even if i haven't received this letter but i have submitted electronically? Or will it be rejected for not having reached the R10 completeness stage? I'm really stuck! :/

After you submit your documents electronically, you would get AOR within week I believe.
You would not get any document of R10 completed as such.
I think, once you submit your application with medical receipt on May 1st, please wait for AOR.
I believe, you can apply for WP after receiving AOR.
