HI, I GOT NOMINATION BEGINNING OF JULY AND JUST SUBMITTED REQUIRED DOCUMENTS AND WAITING FOR AOR NOW.

MY CURRENT WORK PERMIT IS EXPIRED IN NOV, SO I NEED TO EXTEND MY WORK PERMIT.

I WANT TO APPLY BOWP, IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET BOWP DUE TO MY EMPLOYMENT IS LIMIT?

I SAW SOME PEOPLE IN SIMILAR SITUATION GOT BOWP.

DOES ANYONE KNOW ABOUT IT?

THANKS

Hello. For the Bowp is necessary to have no employment restrictions in your nomination (check in your nomination letter for the field "Restrictions on Employment", the answer should be "No").

Observation1: it's possible that your nomination letter has no employer restrictions but at the same time it indicates an employer and/or Noc. That's ok according with operational bulletin manual for Bridging Open Work Permit (check the section for "Determining if nomination has employment restrictions"): https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...nt-applicants/bridging-open-work-permits.html

Observation2: The document I linked above will have all the requirements for Bowp, and it will also have the way the officer is supposed to evaluate your application.

Observation3: In case you can't go with Bowp, as you're a provincial nominee you would be eligible for a closed work permit that's exempt of LMIA which can be a good option as well.
