BOWP - March Applicants

Let's start tracking March applicants for the BOWP - anyone who applied in March 2015 been approved - would assist others if you can provide timelines please.

same timeline for me but i applied for me and my SOWP.

I applied on 18 March. My application has not been touched yet, and the CIC website is showing that, as of 24 April, the processing time has increased to 68 days.

This puts the time when a decision will be made in June. Which is slightly worrying, considering our work permits expire in the end of June/beginning of July.

Some 28 February applicants got approvals on Friday so I believe the processing time has come down a bit.

I applied on 18 March. My application has not been touched yet, and the CIC website is showing that, as of 24 April, the processing time has increased to 68 days.

Does anyone know what the regulation is, though, regarding remaining in the country with an BOWP application is under review? May one stay in Canada past the expiration date of their permit, if their BOWP is being reviewed? I want to say 'yes', but I am sure...

I applied for Me+Spouse on 3rd March. Hoping to get it by next week.

I believe one gets on "implied status" when one's BOWP application is filed and when their WP has expired after filing.

Just be careful because the "implied status" means you can keep working for the employer on your closed work permit and no one else except of course if you already are on an open WP

My BOWP was approved today. I see the updated status-'Closed' and decision - 'Approved' in my cic account. Waiting for instructions that will be emailed to me soon.
Hoping for the SOWP approval comes soon. probably got delayed because i had to pay and upload the WP holder fee receipt for my spouse few days back when i received a notification email from cic to do the same. ( for some reason when i had applied online the CIC website didnt ask me for WP holder fee for SOWP)

Thanks for the update, so from this we know that last week they were processing March applicants as well.

BTW, did you receive an email from them advising that you were approved prior to your status changing in your MyCiC?

It seems that, if applicant didn't submit holder fee $100 initially, and was sent a notice/email to re-pay later, CIC did NOT process those cases so far. Correct me if I am wrong....

Just wondering did someone applied after Feb 20th and got approval with above condition ? Please let me know your timeline.
