BOWP Issued for 4 months only! Please Help!!

Hi,

I received an email from CIC saying that my BOWP has been approved. My original WP expires Feb 21st 2017. New WP validity is only until June 2017.

Is this normal? For how long are BOWP's issued for?

Please share your timeline but you could get one year,doesn't matter if your
Passport expires next month.

My passport is valid untill 2019 so there is no question of passport expiry.

Sorry i mean it shouldn't be issued as per your current wp,even my friend has same issue after he raised to cse and resolved and got one year.
