I have submitted my PR application and applied for a Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP). My current work permit expires on February 20, 2025. However, I need to visit India for an important event and plan to return to Canada on February 16, 2025.
1) Will I face any issues re-entering Canada on February 16, as it is very close to the expiry date of my PGWP?
2) Will I lose the implied status of my BOWP because I left the country, or does it only apply after the expiry of my PGWP (i.e., after February 20)?
3) If I do lose the implied status, can I cancel my current BOWP application when I return on February 16 and reapply for a new one if it has not been processed by then?
