BOWP - Help Required

Hi,

I have applied for PR in CEC and received AOR, i am preparing to apply for BOWP.. looking for some help in below questions.

1. My Spouse is already having Open work permit that expires as my TRV in November. Question is, as i am applying for BOWP myself should i apply BOWP for my souse as well?

2. I am planning to apply online, when i start with the application system prompted me serial of questions and finally shown the link for Apply for "Open Work permit". Is that the correct option i am doing?

3. And system shows that below are documents i need to submit. are these documents correct and sufficient?

Marriage License/Certificate 
Family Member Proof of Status 
Passport or travel document 
Digital Photo

If you wanted to apply together, then you have to file a paper application and apply her OWP based on the approval of your BOWP. I am not sure you can apply for both of you together.

Yes, the assessment is the first step for online applications.
3. And system shows that below are documents i need to submit. are these documents correct and sufficient?

^You can apply online at the same time.
Just say "Yes" to the question on 'Do you want to add a dependent...'.
It will say that you need to add your spouse first.

If you do it separately, then the spouse should submit her/his own online application using her own myCIC account.

Didn't know rules changed. When I had applied for me and my spouse in Feb last year, we couldn't do it.

When filing the application online, are we supposed to upload scanned copies of the supporting documents?

I selected the options to add my Spouse details in the online application. Now while calculate the Fee system shows the below details

Work Permit - 2 Applications - $155 each - $310 Total
Restoration of status -1 Application - $200 each - $200 Total

Anyone has idea why Restoration of status is only for my application, not for spouse? Is this how it supposed to be?

Could anyone who already applied for you + your spouse give some more details? Thanks.
