BOWP for Dependent in CEC application

Hi All,

Is the dependent (spouse) eligible of BOWP along with the BOWP for the principal applicant ?

Our current WPs are the other way round .. i.e. the dependent in the CEC application is the principal applicant for WP and visa-versa.

Only principal applicant qualifies for bowp if all requirements are met. Your spouse can apply for open work permit once you get the BOWP.

Hi Guys,

My BOWP approved yesterday, I applied on 22nd Nov. The status shows Closed and final decision reached as approved.
I need some help regarding my wife's work permit here.

She is currently on a Visitor VISA (she doesn't hold any work permit or any visitor record as of now), In my current BOWP application I had applied for her visitor record (because I was afraid of applying here open work permit along with mine BOWP) which is now approved. Now I have to apply for here Open Work Permit, Could someone of you please guide me how to do that?

Does she need to create her on MyCIC ID or I have to use mine account to raise here request? because I saw in this forum that principle applicant can apply for Open work permit of spouse while applying for his/her own BOWP and those cases got approved as well. but I don't know in my situation how to proceed.
Any details would be greatly appreciated.
