BOWP - Anyone had BOWP application "On Hold" and got approved later

Hello folks,

I am currently on Implied status in Canada, have PR application and BOWP submitted on Nov 05th and Nov 21st respectively. I saw yesterday that my BOWP application was put "On Hold", I was curious to know if it's a common thing or I am in trouble here. Please share your experience if you have faced a similar situation.

Below is PR application timeline:
eAPR submitted - Nov 5th
Medical Passed - Nov 25th
Eligibility - Under review
Background Check - In progress

Below is BOWP application timeline:
Online application submitted - Nov 21st
Status updated to "On Hold" on Dec 14th

It means your R10 completeness check is not done yet.. Are you in a EE applicant?

mahi_raw any update on you BOWP status?
 
Hi I lost my implied status because I received my IAT after they processed my BOWP. Anyways, I applied for study permit and Permanent residency with one month apart and now my study permit is on held. My consultant talked to the CIC and it seems to be a technical problem with the system.

I am not sure whether it is because of our PR application in progress and the government feels a need to process them at the same time.

I also don't know if it is a good or bad sign.

I did called them but they don't know anything other than what I can already see in my profile. how long have been your BOWP application is on hold now? did you call them?

My story is different, I applied for BOWP and it got refused stating 'No application for PR found' I called them and after reviewing my application a nice guy replied he will request for reconsideration of my case and later few days my application status got changed to 'On Hold' and for past 7 days status of my application is on Hold
