BOWP and SOWP suggestions for study permit spouse

Husband (PR Main Applicant) has AOR currently on SOWP expires MAR 2028—is he BOWP eligible?
since I'm on Study Permit—can I quit my studies (yet to start class from April 2026 study permit granted on October 2025)& apply for WP now(along with his BOWP) ? What docs needed? Do I need to inform ircc

Are you eligible for SOWP based on his BOWP? Read the requirements. He doesn't need BOWP since SOWP doesn't expire for 2 years.

Yes I will be eligible because I am dependent applicant
He should apply for BOWP because if I quit studies his sowp will also be invalid rite

His SOWP is valid until expiry so 2028. You cannot work until SOWP is approved. If quitting studies then make sure you maintain status as a visitor.

Didn't say that. I said if you quit studies then you need to maintain status in Canada. You can apply for SOWP but that doesn't maintain status if not studying.

As per your suggestion we need to apply visa only for me not my spouse.

Even if I do not continue my studies my spouse sowp is still valid and he can continue to work

I can apply for sowp and maintain my status untill my work permit or our pr gets approved

Your husband is the PR applicant but on SOWP that expires in two years...he doesn't need to do anything at all.

BUT since you want to stop studying and apply for SOWP based on his PR application then he needs BOWP.
