BOWP and R10

Hi,

I hope everyone is doing well. I have a question regarding BOWP and R10 Check.

I submitted my EE Application in the end of December 2016. I applied to BOWP early Januray. The status of BOWP changed to 'On Hold' late Januray, because R10 check was not done at that moment.

A few days ago, my EE status changed (such as Medical changed to 'passed' and BG check changed to 'in progress'). So I assume R10 check is completed now. But how does IRCC know they should work on my BOWP again? Should I inform them?

It doesn't necessarily mean that your R10 is completed. Also, the processing time is around 30 days so you gotta wait.

Any update on your BOWP status?

I'm in the same boat, current status is "on-hold".

BGC IN PROGESS do not mean r10 check pass, they still working on it, when your r10 check pass,
your bowp will issue immediately.
so your bowp will tell you if pass or not.

what does r10 check means?

My current PGWP is expiring soon. I am also working currently.

I am going to apply for my BOWP soon in few days. I thought, I will get BOWP in a month time but it sounds like BOWP depends on e-APR status.

If I apply for BOWP and does not receive it before my current PGWP expires then can I still continue working legally ?

This is my timeline (CEC EE Inland)

ITA: Jan 11, 2017
AOR: Jan 29, 2017
Medical Passed: Feb 27, 2017
BOWP Approved: April 11, 2017

As you can see it took 72 days for my BOWP to be approved since AOR.
