1. No, not necessarily. You would be sent for a creatintine test to determine if you have kidney damage or not. If you have severe kidney damage from high blood pressure, you could then be refused.

Many people also have hypertension unrelated to kidney disease. You should be getting treated for your hypertension before it causes damage to your body but unless it is a result of a larger underlying issue you should be fine. Refugees are not rejected for health reasons.
