isysy... daghang salamat sa info nimo.
kanang preha nko ba na wala poy credit card, ok ba na for d meantime na di pa ko molarga, mag-apply lang sa kog credit card sa BPI ky wala man poy HSBC dri sa among lugar.. den magamit kaha nang BPI credit card dinha?
tnx isysy...
Yep. Mastercard and Visa is global man. but credit cards and imong bad/good credit history in the Philippines will not affect your Canadian credit. Once you land, you start from scratch
wala man gud international credit union sa pinas. diba kung mag apply ta ug credit card kay apilan pa ug employment certificate ug copy sa imong billing information? diri kay wala ra, adto ka sa major shopping store.. they'll ask if you like to have a credit card.. in 30-45 seconds. done!!!, seconds ha... as in diha ra sa counter sa store, you wont have to pay anything... in less than a week you will then get the mastercard then you can use it to any stores even online
kung gusto ka ug cellphone, tagaan ka... they'll ask for your ID... then a copy of any credit card OR your SIN card... then they'll give you a blackberry/iphone...
if you need a car, same story... give your name, SIN and an ID, that's it... you'll be going home with a car.
in major stores like Sears, Hudson Bay, Costco... kana, once you have a good credit history na diri.
in short, for your question. Yes magamit ang BPI diri, but why bring one? close that one and start a new here in Canada
and besides you're still going to pay that in pinas ra. meaning you have to send money from here to pinas to pay for that pa.
p.s. its not easy to send money from Canada to Pinas... i mean you can... but the fees... sos! ka dako! ... what im doing is using a paypal...
so the process is going to be like...
1. from Canada Bank to paypal = Free
2. from paypal Canada account to another paypal Philippine account = Minimal fee, depending on the amount + their own convertion rate.
(5 days later)
3. from paypal Philippine account to UnionBank account = Free for 7,000 pesos above
(2 days later)
4. Money transfered
so to those coming here to Canada, I suggest you hook up with Unionbank either savings account, checking or their EON.
(ill write another thread on that one next time)
