Birth Certificate Self Affidavit

Hey seniors,

please help..
i dont have birth certificate,and my 10th certificate doesnt have my fathers name explicitly on it(it is mentioned as my middle name)
So i made a self affidavit stating these are my parents and notarized it by a lawyer(sworn in)..will this be accepted by cic??? or this has to be made by my parents??
please please reply..i am quite worried. I am yet to send my application.

On 10th certificate father's name must be there.

Superking, actually generally in Maharashtra board the certificates dont hv the fathers namr explicitly mentioned..Atleast not in mine, its mentioned as my middle name.. Hence made the affidavit..
But I want to know will ths self affidavit work
