I am a new member of this forum. I would like to know whether there is a requirement for birth certificate for the principal applicant or spouse. Although I am trying very hard to get it done for me. Pls help.

Yes, the official translation copy is needed.

It's not required anymore in Express Entry for the principal applicant or spouse, only for a dependent child.
