Birth Certificate Name

Hi all, new here thanks in advance for any assistance.

I am currently living in Vancouver applying PR through CEC as Australian, however I have a question regarding birth certificates and hoping for some xperts here to help!

I was originally born in Taiwan. My original hospital birth certificate does NOT have my name on it. Can I submit this? It has both my parents full name, but not mine. Do I need to get an affidavit stating that birth certificate belongs to me? If so, what are the requirements for this affidavit.

Get an affidavit from lawyer for the birth certificate and submit with your application but make sure that you take the document to the lawyer which has your correct date of birth and then he can also stamp the document as a proof that he saw the document and then he made the affidavit. Also submit other documents like school certificates that has your parents name on it along with your date of birth and name. Checked this in the forum where people have asked abt this isssue earlier.

Thanks for the reply guys, really appreciate it.

The template in the other thread says "I have no documentary proof in support of my place and date of birth issued by the respective municipality."

My case is a little different, since I DO have a birth certificate which has the name of both my parents, just not my own. Can I change this to "I have no documentary proof in support of my name issued by the respective municipality."

Also, my Australian school certificate does NOT have my parents name, or my DOB so I don't think I can send this as supporting document, can I?

Will the lawyer be able to help me format the content of the affidavit?

Can anyone recommend a good lawyer in Vancouver?
