Hello All

While collecting the supporting document to apply under CEC, i noticed 2 things and wanted to get in your inputs. Please assist me here.

MY Birth Certificate (Principal Applicant)
I have a copy of BC, but its handwritten and some details like "Gender" and few other details not clear. I have my school mark sheets which mention only by DOB. I certainly cant get another copy of my BC back home as i have no one there. In this situation what it is the best i can do(don't want to get into issues just because of this)

MY SPOUSE Birth Certificate
My Wife's FATHER's Name on the passport and Birth Certificate is slightly different. The BC is missing a character(Father's Name) in the middle. Is this so important that i will have to work on changing this.

Please share in your inputs.

I also had a birth certificate that was hand-written and most of the information was completely ineligible. I sent it as is, and they haven't asked for clarification (so far). Plus my last name and my parents' last names were all misspelled. I went to a lawyer and got an affidavit made saying that my name was ABC and was misspelled on my birth certificate as ABD, and that I was one and the same person.

I too did the same as spookyb
