Birth certificate from embassy

Dear friends,

I am working in Singapore so, I got the birth certificate from High Commission of Indian in 2011.

Can I use this certificate to claim my point for age? , is it valid? or will I have to get it from my municipal office? in India :'(

Could you please help me?

Not acceptable by CIC. Get from municipal office.

Birth Certificate needs to be obtained only from Municipal office.
