Hello.
I have a nepali husband and now we are in Nepal. me is PR of canada with japanese citizen. I am going back to canada to apply for family class immigration. So we are gathering all documents.

I have a question about birth , baptism and voters ID.
he didn't have birth and baptism cirtificate so he made a birth cirtificate 3 days ago. does he need to make baptism cirtificate too?
he alraedy got old school records.

please help me!!

The region-specific forms for Nepal state that if the birth is registered late (as your husband's was), he should provide other proof of identity, such as the original baptism form. But if he wasn't baptized in the first place, or does not have the original, 'making' one now may not help. Was he baptized? Basically they want something from close to when he was born to prove his birth date and place. The old school records, and his voter ID and new birth certificate may be enough as long as you provide an explanation as to why he does not have a baptismal certificate.

thank you for the reply. ye he had baptismed but there is no evidence left since he was born in village and it is not so commont to make any cirtifications. even citizenship card is made after usually 15 years old.

I will send his birth cirtificate and old school record. and now we are trying to make a voter's ID.

thank you for your help !! I am really apriciate your help. :)
and hope everybody got PR!!
