biometrics done I Canada?

Hi all,

My am currently sponsoring my husband (outland) who is a US citizen. Were are already done with the medical request and just waiting on his biometrics instructions letter. My husband is currently in Canada visiting. Is there any way he can get his biometrics done in Canada or will he have to do it when he returns to the US?

I'm curious what the biometrics process looks like?
He gets his finger prints done at a Visa application support centre and submits it at the US airport (VAC)?

Fingerprints and photos, I believe. And it has to be at a Visa Application Centre - I don't believe that airports are always VACs?

The airport near his home is on the VAC list..I guess I'll just need to wait and see what the letter says. their instructions are usually very clear. Thank you!

Inside Canada we can give biometrics only at the airport? Nowhere else?

You cannot give biometrics in Canada at the moment.
