Biometric instruction letter not yet received

I am planning to visit Canada for a tourist purpose, I paid for the biometric registration fee online, but I did not receive the biometric instruction letter yet, I wonder if the letter is sent right after the payment or after the submission of visa application documents?

Hi, I applied on 7th May 2022

I had applied for Visitor's Visa from India on 19 January 2022, Bio-metrics were completed on 24 Jan 2022. Since then there is pin drop silence. No update on the portal regarding application status, it continues to show the following:

"We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.

Latest update:

Biometrics - January 24, 2022: Completed".

No response to web-form submitted. On day of application the processing time was 56 days, today more than 116 days have elapsed and the processing time too has moved to 127 days !!! Any clue - as to what's happening ?

Ah weird. I applied for my parents and they got the biometric request letter the same day. Maybe raise a web form and ask?

When you say "Applied" do you mean you applied online and then got the documents or you submitted hard copy of document and then received the letter, what sort of documents did you prepare?

I applied online, have to fill the forms then upload the soft copy then pay for everything. Then got an email same day for biometric. Docs as per what they ask.

Hello, did you received your Biometric Letter already? Same situation here. I applied on June 2nd. I applied for my husband, mother, brother and I. Only my husband and I got the Biometric Letter. I do not know what happens with my mother and bother s application.

My parents and sister got approved already. They all got the biometric letter the same day they sent the application.
