Bio-metrics and photograph taken. Now what?

Hello! i'm a Lebanese student, currently in the US and applied for a visitor visa to Canada. Went and got my photograph and bio-metrics taken almost 10 days ago. Should i have sent a copy of the confirmation? or should i have received anything from the immigration center? i haven't heard anything since.
one more thing. i just applied online and i'm not affiliated to any embassy near me. how will i get the visa on my passport? will i be asked to go to an embassy later?

Once decision will be made on your application you will get request to submitt passport to nearest VAC
