Hi,

I have a big doubt. I applied and received the AOR last July 05th, but on October I will go back to my home country for 2 - 2.5 months. First question would be: Will this cause me any kind of problem?

The other doubt would be, I will quit my job before I go, should I inform them about that before I leave the country or I don't need? Would this cause me any trouble?

Should I inform them that I will go away for a while?

Please, help with this!!!

Yes. Your aor should state you need to notify them if changes - job address etc.

Recomended to inform any change ....

But i would say no. as it may confuse the VISA OFFICER... just keep that way.. you should be fine

If you are on a vacation, you dont have to. just keep track of your file by applying for GCMS before you leave

Please, help with this!!!

Quote from aor email:

Please inform the visa office of any changes in your application (e.g. birth or adoption of a child, marriage or common-law relationship, new occupation or employer, change of address, change of e-mail address, change of immigration representative, etc). Please include a letter identifying what the changes are and any relevant supporting documents. If your documents are not in English or French, send a notarized (certified) translation with a copy of the originals.

Please note how it says "any changes" then gives examples.

You need to inform cic that you are moving back to your home country, that as a result you are leaving your job and more importantly provide a new address. Play it by the book - Dont go on what others think you should do, go on what cic request you to do.

100% agree with you JSM0085 as per the guidelines,,,

I have followed the other post with the same discussion, where JES_ON replied like Unless if its a major change...like totally moving out of country,Getting Married, New Family Member or some major things like that, try not to bug the Visa Officers. She/he mentioned that It would would also confuse them by sending any additional documents of your employment...
