Where is your fiancee now? Is she in Syria? and why is there a travel ban. I was under the impression that all Palestenians in Syria hold the Syrian passport not the palestenian one that was issued by the Palestenian Authorities to those who live in the west bank and Gaza!

Another advice, don't trust immigration lawyers. Do your own research.

Do you guys think applying to a student or visit visa Before applying for spouse sponsorship will affect the decision of granting PR? Especially if that visa gets rejected?

It should have no effect.

The more important thing to watch for, is if she applies for study visa or TRV before or after you get married. In general it is much easier to get a TRV to Canada when you are officially "single" for immigration purposes. Once someone gets married to a Canadian, suddenly it becomes much more difficult, in some cases almost impossible, to get a TRV. So for this reason many people apply for the TRV before they actually get married and submit the PR app.
