Jan 2015 is too early for the June travel, April/ May is the good time or rather couple of months prior to the travel dates.

I applied Last October for my aunt who is coming here May or June 2015...

She was granted a MULTIPLE VISA.

You can apply now if you want ;) Good luck! :)

BTW, what was the duration for which you applied? What was the start date and end date? I mean did you request for a visa starting from June 2015??

Depending on the age and health status of you in-laws, it would be best to do it as soon as you can so that you'll have enough time for medical exams etc. We started the application for my in-laws last Sept and up until now they're still doing Medical exams. If you think you're in-laws are healthy (and young), you could probably apply next year. Cheers

The visa started November 10, 2014 and will expire April 5, 2019.
The validity of the passport is the same as the expiry date of the Visa.

When I filled up the form: asking for the duration of stay: I put May-Nov. 2015
