just checked it today and it worked fine, ive been checking it everyday and its working fine for me, make sure you're going to the right page

Hi All

I live in Montreal, Quebec
I filed my application in August 2009 to sponsor parents and 2 dependants siblings living in Lebanon
I received a letter to send more documents in March 2012
My application for sponsorship was accepted on Oct 4 2012 and transferred to Ottawa Pilot

Since then I have not received any updates conercing medical exam or police certificate

Based on your experience, when should I receive an update and why file sent to Ottawa not Beirut

Hi LELLO kefk , I have the same problem, " security certificate problem" also it seems common I read the same problem in damascus forum, but I did not care about the warning so opend it, they updated mine just today decision made

Good luck to you. 2 days ago my spouse redid his medicals for the second time..only one quick chest X-ray that needed to be complete and results were sent. He's currently living in Syria and praying for good. Hopefully it doesn't take long to hear back from the embassy. After all, it's a new day ! Good luck everyone.

Hi Tina i actually don't know what security check is, as they haven't mentioned anything about it, all they did is contact me in October 2012 to redo my medicals and for my resident questionnaire and i submitted everything, then they contact me again for more papers, some of them about my wife and her bank statements and work info whek, and since then nothing,
my ecase is ( as shown in one of my earlier posts ) is " in progress" and its been in progress since my papers arrived to syria
last email from them was last week as a reply to mine and they said that my file is under review by the family class officer and they will contact me when a decision is made or if they need more papers, so i don't know.
and btw my wife contacted her MP back in canada when my papers were just been sent to lebanon, he said that they did my background security check, so im not sure
