look me and you our application received to Damascus in the same month in July 2011 means till now we have been waiting 16 month and 1 week, walla it doesn't matter to us if they made it less , the thing that our status is in process so our application is eligible for processing and no document is missing so they are waiting to make the decisions upon the medical exam , so hopefully by next week we hear something. ya rab, plus u did ur medical on 25th of sept and i did mine of 26th of sept, so till now there is 7 weeks after medical ye3ni 7allo yeb3ato el results 3al safara ,

That's right, my file reached to Damascus in July and I did my medical the same day like you in September 26, but my fear is that if they increase the processing time for more than 17 months :-X
I wish it will not happen and hope we will get our PPR next week, inshallah yaaaa Rab everybody will end from this processing ASAP

Do u think that it a good idea to bring with him proofs of ongoing communication and pictures of Skype conversation?? Thank you,

Yes i believe its a good idea and he has nothing to lose. just tell him to print these pictures and skype conversations or some of them and take them with him to the interview and not to present or hand them until they ask about that. I mean why not

Hi Sanoua,
I agree with iwatchtv, what does your husband have to lose anyways?
Ask him to take the documents with him, they might help him, and hopefully he'll just get the visa!

Hello,
I've been reading this thread for a few weeks and decided to join.
I'm sponsoring my husband and I sent the application in December of 2011. It was transferred from Mississauga to Beirut in mid February 2012.
My husband received an email in mid October requesting the following:

- ORIGINAL LEBANESE POLICE CERTIFICATE WITH CERTIFIED TRANSLATION
- Updated Schedule 1 form with full personal history since 2011.
- Your Updated Lebanese passport.
- Complete the residency questionnaire with your sponsor.

These were submitted to the embassy via drop-box on October 30th 2012. Since then, my ECAS status was changed from "application received" to "in process". The line "we started processing your application on Nov 7th 2012" was added.

Is this the PPR we have been waiting for? No passport photos were requested ( i have read that 2 photos are usually requested). If it is the PPR, how long until they ask us to pick up the visa?
Does anyone have experience with this?
