Being waiting for almost 5 weeks! Does everyone get visa now?

I sent my application to New York at Nov.19
And I still don't have any information about that.Does everyone got some information now? Why it takes soooo long! My flights to Toronto is Saturday! Terribile!

Walk in the visa office early tomorrow or you will need to postpone your flight!

Does anyone else who has received the email that saying application received by 12.1 will mail back at 12.17, but still didn't hear anything?

Heard nothing yet, application received by them on Nov. 8th.

I went to the office at Dec 28. After filled the urgent processing form, I went back at 1:00 as they asked. And then waited until 2:30 to be called when they finish all the scheduled pick up applicants. When I finally in the lobby,there are 40 people in front of me to be severed. So I wait one more hour, when I finally be called, I went to the window, the woman just said I need check something. Then, it is another half an hour waiting....Then I asked her, she just said if I didn't get an email from the consulate then my visa is not ready. So I withdraw it...

The office in NY seems to have no right to decide whether or not you are passed. So I think the only effect of walk in is to push them a little bit harder....Good luck to all !
