Being a Student applied for work permit through lmia

I m studying private college in ontario nd i m going to graduate on 13th nov. i applied my work permit through lmia. So is my status implied or student?
If i m still a student , can i get my graduation diploma?
I got a my work permit before graduating . Is it possible to get the diploma?
