Hi guys,

I got an opportunity to visit Toronto last year for 2 months this trip was purely official and sponsored by my previous employer.
Also i did not over stay and returned on time.
Now i will be applying for study visa by next week so i would like to know how to handle this visit in my SOP.
Is it a good travel record or bad?

Guys help
I don't think it should create a big problem. you can write in your SOP that you quite liked the Canadian society and would love to get a chance to study there in some speciality course. I assume you are mature and therefore you can provide proof of strong ties to your country by showing a letter from employer that you are getting leave equivalent to course and will return back.

being to canada before and not overstaying is a good thing on ur record

you are starting the process of applying next week? I mean have you revived LOA from university yet? University category can take 3 weeks. So do apply accordingly because you don't want yourself in a tricky situation. Last date to apply is 31 July for September intake
