Hi guys I was sponsored to Canada and I got my PR in July 2016 but around a year ago I got divorce and now I got married again and I wanna bring my wife to Canada who also is pregnant. But I saw that I have to wait 5 year after I got my PR.
How true is this??
Any exemptions??

This is true. No exemption. You also must be compliant with your RO as well.

If you were sponsored by your spouse for PR, then yes, you must wait five years before you can sponsor your new spouse.

No exemptions / exceptions.

Yes - this means you must wait a minimum of five years from the day you became a PR before you can submit the application to sponsor your new spouse.

Being compliant with RO means that at the time you submit the sponsorship application, you must have lived in Canada for a minimum of 2 out of the last 5 years.

You have to wait for at least 5 years. Not 4 years and 10 months or 4 years and 11 months but 5 YEARS.
