BC PNP Receipt of Application

congrats !! when did you get your file number and under which category did you apply? skilled worker? outside or inside canada?

I am still waiting. My application was received on july 31st and I got the file number august 14th. hopefully it won't take that long anymore.

and can anybody tell me how to put the dates underneath my profile preview here?

Thanks Steffi! I applied under skilled worker category within Canada on 9th August and received the file number on 14th August. 10 days later, 24th August I received an email requesting additional information, which I sent on 6th September and finally received the nomination on 14th September.

You should be getting it soon... All the best!!

I applied under skilled worker as well, but outside Canada. Hopefully it's not the reason that it takes longer. aaaaaah.

Hi all,

I applied for BC pnp on June 22nd and received letter of receipt July 31st. I applied as a CAD Technician (NOC 2253-B). I have been working in an Architectural office for the past 8 months. Last Monday, September 10th my employer got a call from a Pnp advisor asking for more information about the company and the recruitment process, but haven't heard anything back yet. Please advise
I am a little bit worried because my work permit expires September 28th, should I wait till the end of this week and see if i get an answer from pnp or apply ASAP for work permit?
I am also worried cause I applied before you and haven't received anything yet!!

Hi Emirich,

I applied under skilled worker category. My company transferred me to Canada, so there was no recruitment process as such.. They contacted me to provide additional info related to company and myself...
Sorry, i'm not much of a help here...

Hope you get this sorted.
 
anybody else received the nomination lately?

today I asked them and they replied, that it takes now up to 12 weeks.. :(
 
when I applied early this year ( in bc ). I recevied the nomiation in 2 weeks. applied on the last week of Jan, and recevied the nomination in mail Feb 14. They never contacted my employer.

Then I quicky took the nomination for my work permit renewal, and recevied the new work permit in a month.

I just called them. the agent seemed pretty busy. just told me that it takes 12 weeks or more now..
