I received nomation from the BC PNP Tech Pilot program on July 2020, applied for PR on Sep 2020, received my PR on April 2021 and have been at the same job as in my BC PNP application until now.
But given the exorbitant housing price in the Vancouver metro area (where my job is), my family plans to move to Alberta around July 2023 and I will start looking for a job shortly before that. By that time I would have been in good faith to fulfill my declared intention to stay in BC for at least 2 years and 3 months after PR, or a full 3 years from the date of nomination.
My question: is that sufficient time to stay in BC as a PNP so that they wouldn't pursue me for misrepresentation? Is seeking a lower cost housing after 2 years staying in BC safe enough so I don't jeopardize my PR status (because I received it as a PNP Nominee)? Do I need to report and justify the move to the BC PNP program?
