Hi everyone please share your timeline for BC PNP June 2014 applicant.

Mine:
Application filed June 10,2014
AOR & file no. Rcvd. June 26,2014
Inland Application with job offer on work permit

Applied under strategic occupations Health Care Professionals.

Registered Nurse.

ohh great!! m too planning to give rn exam! how long is the whole process . i heard its a bit long process in bc . can u suggest me that shud i give rn here or ontario

I don't know about Toronto, are you Internationally Educated Nurse? Changes has been done, before you can take the exam. you have to go through an assessment and from that they'll recommend what courses you need to take. It's quite a long process now, I was lucky with mine I only took the exam.
Goodluck!!!

Need a bit of advise here. Now I am still waiting for my PNP nomination but my work permit is expiring by Aug. 2014. I am planning to do these options below.

1. To apply for my visitor status in order to keep my status here. I am from a visa exempt country.

2. Apply for work permit extension thru mail by first week of Aug. using my PNP file number and explaining my situation, this will buy me some time and hopefully my nomination will arrived by then and I could send it to them.

Now my question is assuming that my visitor visa will be granted will it affect my application for work permit extension as visitor permit will be a change of work permit status? Many thanks and hopeful that somebody can answer me soon, greatly appreciated.

So I email PNP today and got a reply saying, " a decision was recently made on your application . Correspondence will be mail to your mailing address," I am getting quite anxious hope it's a good one. I keep on praying.

Hi Aashu,

I am still waiting for the decision though, hope it's positive. When I emailed them, I clearly specify, my understanding that I am still within the processing time, but due to the fact that my WP will be expiring Aug. if they could kindly update my status, so that then I could have a better option to keep my legal status here. They reply the same morning, so I guess there's no harm in emailing them.

Good luck to all of us!

I will defiantly email them.

are you waiting for the receiving nomination paper? or they haven't took any decision?
Because getting mail (through post) take 2-3 week.

Thank you.

I am still waiting for the decision, they haven't email it to me. I know from the previous thread they have the same experience, no email regarding the decision just a mail from them. Is it really 2-3 wks even for inland applicant?

Thanks

yes, getting mail from bc pnp office took 2-3 weeks sometime
