BC PNP - Is ECA required?

Hi Friends,

I have done my bachelors Outside Canada. I have done my Post Graduate Diploma in BC. I am planning to apply for BC PNP and for this do I need ECA (Educational Credentials Assessment)? Kindly Advice.

If you want the benefit of having two degrees or diplomas you need an ECA.

Those are two different levels but not two degrees. One is Bachelors and another is Masters. CIC is asking for highest level of education. So do I really need to show Bachelors? If you could explain that would help me in my understanding

If you have a master's then you just need to show that. The only time you would do two degrees would be a bachelor's and some sort of post-graduate certificate. But if you have a master's the points for that alone are higher.

Thank you so much. I have Bachelors from India and Post Graduate Diploma from Canada. So looks like in my case I would need ECA (for express entry) for my bachelors to make points. Not sure how long WES is taking to process.
