Hi everyone, I have an interesting situation. I got my BC PNP nomination in August 2017 based on my master's degree from Canada which did not mention any employer. But I was unable to get a post-grad work permit as I had one before after I completed my bachelor's degree. To keep my status in Canada, I got a job offer and received a work permit support letter from PNP office. Based on this, I have a closed work-permit till the end of 2019 with the employer I'm currently working with. My PR application was received on 29 Sep 2017 and currently, it's in the security stage (considered to be the last part).

My question is if I leave my current job, will it impact my PR application as I'm guessing it's independent of my work situation and only needed for my work-permit and status in Canada, whereas my PR application is support by BC PNP which was solely based on my master degree?
