Hi everyone,

I'm being sponsored as a sponsored spouse by my husband who is in Canada. We are about to send off our application, but I had a quick question concerning organising the forms.

We intend to subdivide our application into three separate envelopes:
1. Sponsor application forms and supporting documents.
2. Sponsored spouse application forms and supporting documents.
3. Evidence of our relationship.

My questions are concerned with the forms which need to be validated - for which the barcodes are produced.
For the sponsored spouse form (IM0008) as far as I understand that form should be placed at the top of the pile of sponsored spouse forms (so envelope 2 in our case). My first question is, do we just put the entire application form at the top of that pile, or do we just put the pages with the generated barcodes?

My second question is about the sponsor form with the barcodes (IM1344). Do we also need to put that at the top of the pile of sponsor application forms?

Thanks a lot in advance for your assistance! And good luck to all those preparing their folders or awaiting decisions!

Place the respective bar code sheets on top of each set.
I know it's weird but I concur. I hear of a lot of people not doing that and it's also okay.

I placed both sets of bar codes on the very top of the entire application, that way they could scan it immediately, following that I also had the application split into 3 sections: sponsor, applicant, relationship proof.

Right; so do you put the entire form (IMM008 and IMM1344) on the top of their respective sets or just the bar codes generated when those two forms are validated?

Just the bar codes, then the remainder of those forms I had them in the place according to the checklist.
