I have few questions ,
I am on the verge of getting an invite (my pts= 432), and applying as a single candidate (i.e. i need 12.3k CAD)

I have my finances distribued in 2 different bank account and in stocks trading account , equalling to almost 17k CAD.

question is :

-do I have to send them statements of each entity? even if one of my bank account holds 11k CAD.
- one more thing , what kind of picture size do they require after one gets the ITA.

awaiting reply
regards

yes you need to send statement of each and every account till you don't show that you have minimum funds requirement.
go to photographer and ask him to take a pic of yours with canada visa specs, he will do the needful

cheers!

thanks for the reply, kindly tell me should the bank/financial statements be notorized?
and is it fine if the statement reflects only local currency? and no conversion in CAD is mentioned.

regards and thanks for reply

Ask the bank to stamp them. Local currency is fine.

-can i show statement of a joint bank account? of which me and my mother are the primary holders (yeh no one's secondary)

I believe in these instances CIC only count 50% of the money. Might be best to get your mum's name off the account before submission.

bank will definitely stamp it and provide it on their letter head and conversion will be done by bank too or they will mention the exchange rate.

that's confusing how cic will treat it. I am doubtful that they may consider it as 50% even!

as suggested by Kryton, get it in your name
