Hello,

My bank certificate and bank statements are both showing local currency. Do I need to include in my LoE the conversion rate to CAD? Unfortunately our local currency is not listed in Bank of Canada so I was planning to use a screenshot of a conversion site like xe.com

You can do that mentioning that your local currency is not listed in Bank of Canada. You can use the xe.com screenshot, and maybe also add one from the oanda.com currency converter. GL

I would really look into what is considered a "convertible currency" as this is the requirement. IDK what it means to not have your country's currency in the bank of Canada's list, but if you can't easily exchange your currency in Canada, I doubt that the screenshot will help. Or better yet, create a thread here and ask about the particular currency. I can't see the reason behind not saying what the currency is, as there may be a person from your country on this forum who may have the sure answer.
