bank certificate only is ok or bank statement also required??

can i send only bank certificate which states.. i have saving account in this bank with this account number.. and also showing funds in local currency and officially translated currency in cad by my bank..

is it ok to only send bank certificate..

Its ok to send bank cerificate but bank statement of a few months is preferable.
