Hi there, iam suddenly in doubt.

My common law spose have a cnib bamk account together (we both signed it), a checking account, but i'm the primary holder. We both put money on it, we use it to pay our bills and hoisrhold exprenses, but we also have separate accounts ftom before i moved in. Now, the credit card linked to that account is, unfortunately only on my name as i'm the primary account user, but there are two cards issued to that account, one for me with my name on it and one for him with his name on it. My question is, is this ok? How do you prove the shared banking part? Is this going to look ok to cic?

This is excactly what you want cic to see. Take photos of anything that shows joint relationship and include it.

ok, thanks - I was suddenly worried because cnib made sure I'm the primary account holder (thus giving themselves a new client) and the 'owner' of the credit card, but we did have two cards issued from that account (which we also use to pay some bills like the internet and family membership at the gym). At any rate, hope they like it! Also, instead of giving them monthly statements from the checking account (there's not that much money there because, as i say, we have separate accounts for our salaries from beofre we moved in together, with mine being a foreign account alltogether) i think we'll just ask the bank to write us a letter stating that we've had that joint account together since december 2014, ans then give them the credit card statements, maybe. what do you think? or is it better to give them the checking account statements too?

Give them everything you can. The letter from the bank is perfect.
