CIC has updated their STudy Visa processing time to 5 weeks now due to heavy rush and last month submissions. However, its quite obvious that they are handling the files based on the program start date filled on the study permit form and SPP files are disbursed earlier. However, SPP has high chances of refusal due to strict rules and since July 31st, all SPP candidates are falling under General category now. SPP is closed. Bangalore apparently is the slow one and they are releasing files in order of submissions.

Yes, I applied on 6th july and got it on 5th aug...Passports are getting stamped in Bangalore itself and once dispatched, check blue dart for arrival status...All the BEst!
