Everybody is hang up in SGVO. Do you have any prediction?
bappiislam - PP submit on 08-05-14
saidul007 - pp submit on 11-05-14
ekarus, yfas & iamroth all submitted in may-14.
But no one get PP back yet.

I believe all of them got MR+RPRF+PCC+PPR altogether, right? SO, I think sgvo works like this:
01. first they check the Medical
02. then they encash the DD as well as check the PCC
now the problem is, to encash a DD, I think, there's a time period between the countries/ banks, so after getting the confirmation of payment, a visa officer is appointed to check whether all the relevant documents for that particular file is in his/her hand or not, if s/he got all the documents/ papers, s/he finally approves the file and then the passports go for visa stamping.
now, the thing is the process looks simple n short but the same scenario should be multiplied by 11 (Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar (Burma), Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam) and with no. of application from each country + family members as well!!

so the whole process becomes slow and thus I think it shouldn't take more than 60 days (give or take few) to get the passports back. usually what I've seen in similar cases, it takes exactly 30 days to get back the passports from the day of Decision Made.

wishing all the very best to the upcoming visa holders!! u all will get the VISA by the end of JULY, in sha allah!!

Another reason could be, the CIC officers are upset because Canada is not playing in World Cup

Exactly. Not sure what is going on in SGVO. khtoyon brother got it in 1 month, but others waited for 2 months.
