Is Canadian Immigrant Integration Program (CIIP) benefit for new immigrant?? is this free or cost related ?? is there office in dhaka ?? they want application file number is this ok to give them or not ??

please advice about this program am i join there or not because i submitted my passport for Visa VFS Dhaka ??/

yes, perfectly OK. when u'll get your passports back, there will be a brochure of CIIP in the package, so it's definitely ok with Canada.

attended, CIIP online session, very informative I have to say, what we know in a concise format. at the end of the session, the Orientation Officer asked my why Bangladeshis are not registering as much as they are getting MR? I told him that, may be most of the applicants do not know about the CIIP. But he said, not even forum members are registering for the program, they need 25 participants (including accompanying family members) to conduct a session in Dhaka.
so, guyz, those of u who didn't yet registered, I think u can take a shot at this program. Tomorrow I'll be having an one to one session regarding My Action Plan (carrier counseling/ resume & interview preparation/ settlement issues etc.) for an hour. Let's see what happens.

How did they inform you the time of your online session? They book a seat for me for online session of 17-19 june.But how I will know the time of the session?

SCB te account na thakleo hobe. they will charge some extra for not having an account. but try to avoid Gulshan branch...beshi vab ney......onno branch e account na thakle draft nao korte pare...so better got to dhanmondi branch-1 [beside lab aid] or brach-2 near abahoni math......still reception e bolbe account chhara hobe na...but 1tu chapa marte hobe... ......

I'm not sure what u r asking, but I guess u want to know how u r going to show POF* at POE**? right?? it should be cash & traveler's cheque. these are the best option.

There is no maximum limit. You can carry extra money.

I saw its 3000 usd cash. Better call bangladesh bank hotline and ask them. According to new law per person can take 12k usd a year;

if u carry more than 10000 CAD in cash, u must inform the CBSA officer, otherwise if they find out later, u might/ will be in trouble.

I've seen a story, where the man didn't disclose his funds at the POE, later when he went to deposit a handsome amount of money in the bank, the bank refuses to take money and asked him about the source of the money, as the bank did not see having that much money brought by the man at the POE.

another thing is, they advice immigrants to take as much money as possible and the money is COMPLETELY TAX free!! 8)

what should the answer: value of all assets already in Canada (if u have anything in Canada then, otherwise not applicable)
funds to accompany (what/ how much u r going to take/ will carry, at the time of landing)
assets to be transferred later (what u r not taking at the time of landing but will take them afterwards)

remember one thing, your net worth must be greater than the POF amount. and u will also have to deduct the loans+liabilities from the total worth/ asset valuation

yes, if BD immigration police know there'll be problem, as far as i know one person can take 5000 USD max. so for 2 person it's 10000 n for 3 it's 15000 USD. I'm not sure whether the rules changed or not.. r dhora khaile to "BD shomadhan" = "khushi kore dea" asei!!! 8)

congratz!! try searching the PNWS form, I had it once but I couldn't find it anymore! using the form would make it easier.
