BANGLADESHI MI-2 APPLICANT'S FORUM

Tamim07 bhai is in toronto. I met him at Ryerson university. He landed probably 6-7 months back. Could you update please.
It will reduce one name atleast from the list.

We have formed a group of Bangladeshi forum mates (all from forum actually and almost 14 now) here in Toronto.
We meet once a month and share many issues and most of all we pass adda time.

First of all Congratulations to Tamim07. Unless someone is informing the updates, its very difficult to keep the Forum list updated. Those who are getting the Visa or MR please let us know so that we are also inspired.......................

I want to change my authorized representative. Presently it's an agency but I want to change all contact details to my own.

1. How to do that?
2. Will it effect my files?

Hi,
To cancel representative and corresponding address just email to your visa office using case specific form.
https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=singapore
You have to inform them that you don't want to use representative any more and your new corresponding address will your address including email address. to do so you need your UCI no or paper file no, surname and date of birth. please state your address and email ID.
There will be no effect on your file.

before going through, is your consultant genuinely put his/her name in your file as representative?? or just using his/ her e-mail address & mailing address??

My consultant put their name & address as authorized representative.

I think as they update it every year, so the current amount should be the one that they require regardless of the applied year.
In a sense that 17011 CAD in 2011 is equivalent to 18097 CAD in 2014. The amount is increased but the value remains the same, I guess. (though in BD we are still pissed about it) >:(

In my sense its a bit absolute matter. Since this fund mentioned on the site have to be taken along with u when u attempt to land on CA. So this fund should be on current time basis. Mentioned fund is calculated as such, u can live up immediate after ur landing time . So this fund availability should be carried out by the candidate during his landing. Which indicate that updated fund should be maintained by applicant preferably from now on.
